About Me

ChangcheI am a writer/philosopher covering the rise of China, tech policy, and US politics. I am the former Editor of the Oxford Review of Books and the current Executive Editor of the Oxford Political Review, where I also run a podcast series (available on Spotify and Apple).

I have also worked as a data analyst for Amazon and an economic consultant for Analysis Group Inc. My main specializations are in econometrics, natural language processing, and interactive data visualizations. I am an expert in R and Python with proficiency in Stata, SAS, SQL, and Java. My data visualizations can be found on Tableau.

As an academic, I study the relationship between media and democracy, and how contemporary republican philosophy can help us navigate our present media crisis.
